We’re definitely a little biased but there really is no better way to see Exmoor in a whole new light than zipping past it on a RIB! Our three sea safaris take in the very best of this gorgeous stretch of coastline, taking in the unique sealife and breathtaking scenery onshore (and off). We can’t wait to share it with you! Whether you’ve got one hour or a little longer to explore, we have a stunning sea adventure to enjoy.
We’ll cruise out to the west of Lynmouth, past the Valley of Rocks and several beautiful bays to find the “Seabird Sanctuary”. Towering rock faces filled with nesting Guillemots, Razorbills, Kittiwakes and Fulmars (in season) – it’s spectacular! We’ll stop the RIB along the way so you can soak up the dramatic sea caves and stunning waterfalls, heading out towards High Veer Point where you might catch a glimpse of the playful seals if you’re lucky!
We’ll head out west towards Lee Bay, skirting the looming cliffs of the Valley of Rocks, Yellow Stone as well as the sea caves where the sea birds nest. Passing by Silvery Sands and Ninnywell Cove, we’ll stop at the Gun Chamber Caves – listen carefully and might hear where they got their name!
Cruising east along the hidden Edge of Exmoor, we’ll head past the Foreland Lighthouse and far too many beauty spots to mention! We’ll pause for a little shore time in the enchanting little harbour of Porlock Weir before heading back to Lynmouth via the Gun Chamber Caves (listen carefully as we linger, you may hear why they’re called that)!
